I have downloaded your recent upgrade 8.1 but prefer the original version I had until yesterday because of changes you have made to the appearance. Can you send me a link to uninstall the recent upgrade and go back to the previous version
The process is to uninstall eM Client, making sure NOT to delete the database directory when asked. Then you can download and install any of the previous versions from the Release History.
Depending on how far back you want to go, your current 8.1 database might not be compatible.
You will get an error when you try to start the previous version if that is the case. What you need to do is with eM Client closed, rename the C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\eM Client\ folder and then restart eM Client. You may need to enable hidden items in Windows Explorer to get there.
You can then setup your accounts and preferences again, or restore a backup you have from that version if that is easier.
