Text locks up then disappears while creating new or replying to an email

Does the whole window close or just the text?
What version of eM Client are you currently running? Check the Help>About section for full version number.

Olivia, first the cursor stops, when I try and click on other sections of the email nothing happens, then the text disappears. The window does not close, but, the text is gone. Version 7.0.27742.0

that’s a fairly recent version, but please do try the latest available on our website, 7.0.27744: http://www.emclient.com/dist/v7.0.27744/setup.msi
Does the whole program then freeze or are you able to continue using it? Ex. Create another message or write again?
Does this happen on just certain accounts perhaps or does it not matter?
Is there any error in Menu>Tools>Operations>Error window after this happens (if the program is not frozen)?

Also, Robert - if you replicate the issue again, please go to your database (C:\Users%windows user account%\AppData\Roaming\eM Client) and send the cef.log file to [email protected] with a link to this forum thread.
