Text Formatting Problem

When I reply to a message, or write a new message, I cannot change the font type or size.
As usual, I select the section that I want to format. However, the increase font button and the decrease font button have no effect. Similarly I cannot select another font style or select another font size.

The Bold, Italic and Underline buttons DO work.
Anyone else seeing this?
