Task List no importing to iPhone or iPad

My goal is to keep my Task List synced between my PC, iPad and iPhone.

Windows 11 Pro Version 24H2
em Client version 10.4.4405(efaf62f) - the patch that fixed the incorrect task/due date issue.

I installed eM Client on:

  • iPhone 6splus, iOS ver 15.8.5 (latest version available), didn’t find the eM Client version.

  • iPad Air2 ver 15.8.5 (latest version available), eM Client ver. 10.4.4205(621cea8)

I used the QR Code method - all options selected except “include tags” and “include certificate/keypairs”.

PROBLEM: On both installs, the Task List was not imported.

I have two email accounts.

Looks to me like an eM client issue, since neither account is using the mail provider for Tasks.

All help will be sincerely appreciated.

Hey@stu

There is an upgrade to Win 25H2 if your PC supports this
You do not have the latest version of eMC on your PC

You can download the eMC upgrade here: (Release History | eM Client)

It might be because of the age of your iOS devices that Tasks were not transferred,
if I am wrong someone will say, however, you can do the following:

You can Export your Tasks from eMC on your here:
Menu >File >Export >Export task to .ics files
Copy the files to your other devices and follow instructions to import

40+ years as a computer pro has made me very cautious. Maybe you could explain your suggestions.

  1. “upgrading to Win 25H2”.
I did not see anything from eM Client that required or suggested that. What Win 25H2
feature/change would be relevant in my situation?

  2. I am on em Client version 10.4.4405(efaf62f) - This is the patch that fixed the incorrect
    task/due date issue.

I hesitate to re-introduce that bug. Besides, em Client “check for update” shows, “No update available.”
I’ll take their word for it.

Looking around, I found that this has been a problem for many years - with no one finding a reasonable solution.

Thank you for trying to help solving my issue.

Hey @UncleStu

I will try to answer your observations / queries notwithstanding
your caution.

1./ I have no idea if an upgrade of your OS to 25H2 will help your eMC issue
though it is sensible to keep your OS up to date.
2./ Patch 10.4.4405 is incorporated in subsequent updates together with other items.
3./ Updates are released staggered to reduce server load and can be downloaded as above.

Y can not help you further and stand by my original post suggest you contact
eMC direct: (Support | Remote Assistance | License Manager | eM Client)
