I’m running eM Client version 6.0.20498.0 on Windows 7 Enterprise. I have both check boxes under “Synchronization” unchecked (i.e, not to synchronize items at startup, and not synchronizing every n minutes), but when I start up the application it seems to still synchronize folders and messages. Is that normal behavior?
Hi, basically yes. This is due to IDLE connections turned on (can’t be turned off in the application), it’s a server feature, so unless your mail service has IDLE connections turned off, the items will still be synchronized on startup.
I understand this might be a bit confusing.
Thank you for understanding,
