is it possible to configure the synchronization process in order to sync only certain folder (for example only the received messages) or messages from a certain date?
In order to have not Gb and Gb of old data.

If you have a Gmail account, it is possible to set a limit to how many messages you’d like to synchronize via the webmail settings: Forwarding and POP/IMAP - Folder Size Limits - ‘Limit IMAP folders to contain no more than this many messages _____’
