Sync interval problems with Hotmail

We need an option to setup individual synchronization intervals, if there is an account that I don’t bother getting fresh results every 5 minutes I’ll increase it to 30 minutes while keeping the other main account with the 5 minutes interval.

Hotmail for the instance doesn’t like to be queried too often, on Thunderbird I was able to solve this problem by increasing the sync interval just on the Hotmail account.

Please consider moving this option to the account setup asap.

Hi Paul, the synchronize items option in application settings is mostly used for setting up a synchronization for POP accounts, that don’t support the IDLE connection. IMAP accounts keep the connection between the mail server and the email client to synchronize newly received items as soon as possible.
