I have several gmail accounts set-up in emClient (for well over a year). All accounts, yesterday, were working perfectly. Today, I opened emClient and one gmail account (the most important one) won’t sync while the others all work with no problems encountered. Nothing was changed in this account. I can’t seem to find a cause, and I did try to delete and re-install the account- it did not work-same problem!
I’m experiencing this same problem. I was running the Android beta version on an Android 15 phone. I tried deleting the account and adding it again but it hangs on the last step. I downgraded from the beta to the latest Android version and I’m still having the same problem. Interestingly, two other Gmail accounts sync fine. To log in to the account that won’t sync on the web, it sends me a push via Duo Mobile, a third-party security app, but that hasn’t been an issue in getting my messages in eM Client in the past.
At this point I honestly can’t rely on em Client to download/send my messages from this one Gmail account, and I can’t understand why this suddenly happened after working perfectly for around two years? As previously mentioned, I did everything suggested to get em Client to work with this single account with no luck (and again, four other accounts are still working perfectly?).
I really hesitate to do it because it is a subscription program (and especially since I paid a good sum of money for em Client), but since this problem with em Client appears to have no resolution, I’ve downloaded and set-up Mimestream (which is exclusively for Gmail) and it works perfectly with all my Gmail accounts. At least Mimestream just works and provides reliability. I will continue to use em Client for my other non-Gmail accounts since I’ve experienced no problem using it with my other email accounts.

I’ve downloaded and set-up Mimestream (which is exclusively for Gmail) and it works perfectly with all my Gmail accounts.
If one Gmail account doesn’t sync but your other accounts do and it syncs okay in your alt email client, then suggest two options to fix it.
1). If you have been making regular eM Client backups either automatically via the settings or manually via the menu, then try restoring a recent dated backup “when you know it was working ok” via “Menu / File / Restore” and then any new emails since the restore point will update when eM Client re-connects.
2). Or if you haven’t been making eM Client backups or restoring a backup didn’t fix the issue, then suggest to go to “Menu / Accounts” and remove and re-add your Gmail account using the “Automatic account wizard” at the top which then normally will fix the problem if it is a eg: corrupted local account.
Note:- If you do remove and re-add the account, first make a manual backup via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reson. You can see when the backup is complete via clicking the dropdown on the right of Refresh and clicking Show Operations.
I don’t know what the problem was, but I was able to add back my Gmail account today and it loaded all the messages. Thank you for suggesting backing up the settings when everything seems to be working as it should.
