It would be nice if the subject line, when it contains a lot of text, would be extended by another line, or if the entire text could be displayed by clicking on it. Currently, the text is simply cut off, and the full text is only visible when clicking on the subject line.
Just mouseover the subject (without clicking) and you’ll be able to see all of it (or almost all of it depending on its length).
And that’s precisely the problem; simply hovering over the subject line isn’t enough to display the entire subject. Especially when using tags, the subject line is significantly shortened, as these are also displayed on the same line.
I have no idea how you configured your main eM Client’s layout but you can maximize the length of the subject line by:
- Maximizing the main window
- reducing the width of the left pan
- hiding or minimizing the side bar (right pan) if you don’t use it, or at least reducing its width
- maximizing the width of the subject column
- keeping only the columns that really matter to you
- changing your layout by setting your messages on the bottom.
