Hi folks - have used eM Client for several year… recently, I noticed formatting / apperance problems when I used the “&” symbol in the subject line - the other subject line text would get all funky (pardon the technical term). Currently, I am using version 9.2.1222 (ca10485). Thanks Josh

I have just tested and cannot replicate any issue.
Exactly what are you putting in the subject before and after “&”?
I tested on eMC v9.2.1222 with Win 11 Pro

hi - thank you for responding so quickly – I am having problems with any subject line with an & symbol in it… it’s almos as if the & symbol is triggering some sort of formatting “code”. Basically, and its hard to show here, as soon as I type an & symbol, the subject line becomes padded with spaces and some of the other characters disappear. Happened after I upgraded – 2 different computers so ???##@#@#@

Yes, the “&” is used in HTML, here is something that I wrote probably 20 years ago, it might give you a clue to the issue you have…
