Can’t figure out what the heck this is. I see other issues with the ‘Red Triangle’ but no solutions or even what causes them. I really NEED my email to work! Any help is appreciated!
Strange thing is that things seem ok on my cell phone. What is going on?

What is the error message when you click on a red triangle?
If you don’t see one, click the dropdown on the right of Refresh and click “Show Operations”. Then click the “Log” tab and look for any obvious error messages and paste them in this thread.
We might then be able to see what’s wrong. Note: Blank out anything personal.
same problem, got the problem from friday on all my computers
No problems with the mobile connection
I have no idea what all this is, but looks like some sort of ‘time out’?

I get no error message, just spinning circle then nothing. I posted the log below.
That error can sometimes be related to eg: Optionally installed Firewall / Security programs, or Optionally installed Antivirus programs, or VPN’s. So if you have anything like that installed “other than what comes default with your OS”, try completely disabling those to test.
Now if you have nothing like that optionally installed or disabling any optionally programs like that makes no difference, then i would next go to “Menu / Accounts” “and as you appear to have an IMAP account”, remove and re-add your account again and see if that fixes it. Before removing and re-adding, write down your account “General, IMAP and SMTP” server settings tabs.
Also make a manual backup of eM Client first before removing via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is complete in Show Operations via clicking the dropdown on the right of Refresh top left.
Red triangle, with a white exclamation mark appeared next to my Gmail account address in the Mail menu on left of screen. Left click on symbol, open window in lower right of screen “Authorisation required”, with my email account address below and “Click here to proceed”. Left click this, takes me to my email account, requesting that I, “Choose an account to continue to eMClient.” Click on the eMClient link and see this pop-up, “Developer info
Email: [email protected]
Choosing an account will redirect you back to the application”
So, select my email account that brings up a window requesting “Sign in to eM Client”, which I accept.
This displays another window " eM Client wants additional access to your Google Account", plus a description " When you allow this access,
will be able to
Create, edit, organise and delete all your tasks. Learn more
eM Client already has some access

Make sure that you trust eM Client
Review eM Client’s [privacy policy] and [Terms of Service] to understand how eM Client will process and protect your data.
To make changes at any time, go to your Gmail account.
Learn how Google helps you [share data safely].
A small window then appears in the top centre of the screen, requesting that you accept eMClient and mail provider connecting, tick the tick box for this to continue and accept the offer. This rather convoluted series of windows and not necessarily clear instructions to a rank amateur, single digit, septuagenarian computer user, appear to have re-established the link between my email address and eMClient. I just hope that it remains stable and connected. Good health.
Ok my friend. Thanks. My VPN seems to have been the culprit BUT why did it JUST START causing issues within the past week or so? Very strange as Nothing has been ''updated" as far as I know. Systems are WAY too complex these days. It was a lot simpler 35 years ago . I actually was around during the ‘Mainframe 360’ days BEFORE desktop computers, cell phones and crap. Simpler days I often yearn for. But Progress must push us forward; or we hope it’s forward!

Sometimes VPNs can block if a eg: IP address assigned by the VPN connection is on a blacklist which then the destination mail server carn’t be reached by the mail client so gives you errors.
So “try one of your other VPN connection servers”, but if none work, you would need to contact your vpn provider technical support, as it will then be “something with the configuration of the vpn” that has either changed and no longer allowing eM Client access through it, or "you might just need to uninstall & reinstall / update the VPN etc.
