Store drafts and sent mails in specific folders of another account

Hello,

at the company I work for, we use a separate IMAP account for storing sent mails and drafts for easy information exchange within a group of people.

I managed to move sent files to the desired place using a rule after sending. However, this does not work for drafts, since there is no hook for that.

I also tried to specify the drafts-folder in the account settings like “[email protected]/drafts” but that strangely worked only once and only half way. The drafts were stored in the right account but in a separate folder.

Is there any possibility to achieve what I need?

Hi Frank, what version of eM Client are you currently using?
What do you mean by the separate folder, has another “Drafts” folder been created for that account? Do you have the drafts account setup in eM client along with your primary (other) account?

This is unfortunately not officially supported, but the settings you’ve used could work.
