How do I turn-off synchronizaion? All I want is the exchange of written emails and then download of waiting emails - resulting in an empty hotmail inbox when it’s contents have been downloaded.
Tools - Settings and untick Synchronize at startup and Synchronize items every
Additionally go to tools>accounts>uncheck include when sending/receiving emails
