We have a SmarterMail server and with the new Let’s Encrypt E6 ssl cert… The MacOS Version of emclient reject everytime the certificat.
We have the error about revoked ssl and the ssl is perfectly working! On the Windows emclient it work perfectly! Only MacOS!
We are aware of this issue as we received other reports and can replicate the behavior with our SmarterMail server as well.
Unfortunately we have not figured out what changed yet, our current hypothesis is it’s something connected to Let’s Encrypt’s verifications changes: Ending OCSP Support in 2025 - Let's Encrypt but no idea why it only affects macOS.
If we figure out a fix or workaround we will make sure to inform about it. We’re sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.
