smtp tab missing

There is no SMTP tab in the Tools-Accounts.  I have General, IMAP, Diagnostics.

I cannot set the account as default, and I cannot send an email.

seems like your SMTP server wasn’t recognized automatically.
You will need to set up your account manually in Tools>Accounts settings.
Instead of the automatic setup for New Account choose Mail>Other.

Choose IMAP and set up your account. You will need to input your incoming and outgoing server (you can find your incoming server from your current IMAP tab in Accounts settings).

I got the settings from “charter help” and added a new account manually. Then it worked.
It seems like the server names are case sensitive.
