SMTP Settings not working, confirmed settings with other mail client...

Whenever i try to send an email i get an error:
[SMTP] an attempt to connect to (username)@(domainame).com failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect setting.

I have compared the setting with other email clients that work…

I have the same problem. My SMTP was working fine before I went on holiday, and now:

5.7.0 Error: authentication failed:

Mine won’t connect at all…too bad as I wanted to use this for my email. Guess i’ll have to delete it and use something else. No support either

sorry for late response. If problems persist we appreciate a little help. We need to get the communication logs that will show us where exactly problems happen. Here are instructions on how to get them:

  1. Create directory “C:\Temp”
  2. Download the file from… and extract it into eM Client directory (“C:\Program Files\eM Client” or “C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client” depending on your system)
  3. Run eM Client, it will create the log file in C:\Temp\System.Net.trace.log .
