"SMTP doesn't support STARTTLS"

Have had multiple problems of the last couple of days collecting from and sending via BT-Yahoo: problem started by frequent demands for log-in and password - neither of which has changed. This got “sorted” when it eventually offered me a setting s page with “Diagnostics”, which I can’t find myself: this worked for about two or three messages, then started all over again. Today, the same, but with the addition of the above message, and nothing seems to be clearing it.

Try Port 587 and Force usage of SSL/TLS. That is the correct combination.

But also there seem to be regular issues over at BT. If the setting change above does not work, please contact them for assistance.

How do we do that please!

In eM Client, go to Menu > Tools > Accounts, then click on the SMTP tab.
