SMIME not working on Mac OS

I am installing SMIME certificates. It works well on Win 11. However, I am having trouble on Mac OS 12.0.1.

There was a hint some 2 years ago that other users experienced similar challenges on Mac OS.

Has this issue been fixed in the mean time. Or am I missing anything?

Version 9 allows S/MIME.

If you want to try the beta, you can download it from the Release History.

Make a backup before installing the beta, as you will not be able to return to version 8 once one the database has been converted.

We just started the beta, so give it some time. Probably early next year.
