Over the last week the EM client has been working slower and slower whilst syncing from Gmail. The mail is on gmail but takes a very long time for syncing over to the EM client
Same…and my calendar has got messed up with times in EMClient appearing an hour earlier than reality.

Slow syncing can be issued by many things, have you had it slow like you are having it now all the time or it happened suddenly (or after something you have done)?
