Slow search, multiple accounts, still syncing after days

Title says it all (I think). Dell XPS 14, i9 with 32gb of RAM with a Fios Internet connection (321.13 downstream/323.88 upstream) so I don’t think it’s that. It’s been several days since an install and I’ve had to force quit multiple times because the app freezes primarily when trying to do a search (even for email received in the past couple of days), or change account settings. While I have a huge amount of email (25k) being synced from Outlook 365, it still hasn’t completed after three days. Task Manager shows two 32-bit versions of the app running for some reason (this is a constant. Killing one kills them both) using on average 12% of CPU. I have been enabling logs for a few days. Where can I find them to upload them? At this point, TBH, wishing I hadn’t paid for the app - that says a lot when I was looking for a replacement for the new version of Outlook which is terrible. Is there a grace period for a refund? I paid on Thursday, the 11th (three days ago).
