Well, as far as I know you can’t include the size column when using conversation mode because the list is not a list of messages, but a list of conversations.
The middle ground is to use conversations in message details only. That way you have the conversation grouping in the message preview frame (above and below the message) and the size in the message list.

Please inform me how to align the title of the “Size” field with the displayed number of the message size.
I tested it and the “Size” heading is well to the left, while the message size is just right.

Oh OK. The column header is left aligned and the column data is right aligned. As far as I know there is nothing you can do about that except to make the column a bit narrower then it will not be so obvious.
