Since Final Release does one account not sync

Problem with syncronizing

eM Client Final Release can not stop syncronzing with one of my two E-Mail account, even though I changed nothing since the Version 7 RC (I also used this settings since Version 6). This behaviour started with the new release. I’m using Win 10 64-Bit and 7.0.26356.0.

I look up at the status page of my eMail host (Gandi.net), but all systems were up and running. I looked into the log of my firewall (G Data Internet Security), but the were no blocked connections for MailClient.exe.

The tab  „error“ states:

„**my adress 1**: Connecting to **my adress  1** failed“

The tab „Log“ states:

„07:36:38 Online-Status: geändert zu Online bis zum NetworkAvailability

Hello,
you don’t have the latest release.
Please install the latest version available on our website and see if that fixes your issue.

Regards,
Olivia

First of all a thing I forgot in my first post at this treat: A big thank you for providing this E-Mail client. I’m serious! This is not irony! I love the CalDAV and CardDAV feature! It helps me to stay independent from Google, Apple and Microsoft.

A update from the website to version 7.0.26482.0 did not help.

Solution:
I changed the IMAP port from 143 [“Use SSL/TLS if avaiable”] to 993 [“Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)”]. It works now. I’m happy now.

Best regards,

Michael

Hello Michael,
