Shouldn't I be able to use a self generated s/mime certficate

I used openssl to generate my own certificate - and I can import it successfully.

But when I try to use it to sign a message, I get (won’t let me because it considers me untrusted):

Hello,
the only way how you can workaround it is to add the certificate to “Trusted” in Windows certificate store.

Can you be specific, I tried moving it from Personal/Certificates to a bunch of different places without success…

Copy it to Trusted Root Certification authorities and let me know if it helps.
