shifting mail to data file no. 1 not working

When I try to shift an E-Mail from input box using drag an trop to the data file nothing happens.
When I try to shift an E-Mail from input box to data file using popup menue " shift to folder" ==> shut down.
Using an other folder e.g. datafolder 2 it works.

Are you creating a mail folder first “under the .emdf file” before you drag your email to it ?

If you are, then try rename that folder & create another folder and see if a new folder works.
