I’ve searched and possibly overlooked it, but is it possible to set up an outlook.com email account in emclient without contacts and calendar. I use iCloud for those items because of my iphone and ipad. I don’t use either contacts or calendar from my outlook.com account. Thanks

Open the “Apps that support IMAP and SMTP tab” on this topic and setup your account manually in eM Client. To setup manually navigate to Tools > Accounts > New account, but instead of using the automatic setup, open the Mail tab below and select ‘Other’ to proceed with the manual setup.
