Setting the email retrieval interval per account

Hi,
I am using the latest version of your software: 10.3.2619 (1e54f4a).
I have several email accounts that are checked simultaneously, and I would like one of them not to be checked, but only when I want it to be.
Is this possible?
Is it possible to set the check interval for each account?
Thank you.
Philippe.

If it’s an IMAP / Exchange account, “due to the nature of those type of accounts” you carn’t just stop a specific acct checking while it’s visible.

So the only way to stop it checking is to go into your account and eg: “disable all the services under the IMAP account General Tab” which then will hide the account from view & not check.

Note: Just disabling only include when sending and receiving email “doesn’t apply for IMAP / Exchange accounts” like POP accounts so you need to disable all the services to stop checking.

If it’s a POP account you disable the “Include when sending and receiving emails” option within the account General tab at the bottom, and you can also disable POP account checking on startup if you want as well. See my post in the following thread on how to do both.

Hello cyberzork,
all my accounts are accessed solely via IMAP, and they are domains that belong to me.
With Thunderbird, I can set a time delay for checking emails per account, on an individual basis.
I have one account that receives a lot of spam, and it is first checked via Mailwasher in order to sort through it.
For this reason, I don’t want this account to be checked from EmClient, because if it is, Mailwasher becomes useless.
Actually, I don’t think this is currently possible with EmClient, but I wanted to make sure anyway…
In any case, thank you very much for your reply. You can’t have everything!
Thank you very much. :+1:
Philippe.
