server question

I can’t see my emails and the error message says that there may be incorrect settings for the server. how do I find out what the settings are supposed to be? Right now it says server:

You should be able to find the details you need here: (Hotmail): POP3: (Hotmail): IMAP :

Note if using IMAP you need to disable the AirSync in the account setting. IMAP will not sync calendars etc (Hotmail): Exchange ActiveSync (EAS):

You can select to add the exchange server from the “mail” tab in the add new account window ( just below the “automatic set-up” tab.

Important Note:
When you have Two-Step Authentication enabled for your Microsoft account, you’ll need to use a special App Password instead of using your own password.
