Sending mail

error message…can not connect to server

Hello,

what email account provider do you use? What is exactly in that error message and is eM Client only one who can’T connect to the internet at the momentM

and what version do you use Help - About?

AT&T is my internet provider. The error message is-----(SMTP) An attempt to connect to Bellsouth(thezykes) failed. this could be caused by tempary server
unavailability or incorrect settings. Do you want to check the settings?----

Yes it is, I have no problem connecting with any other e-mail program. I think it is
the bellsouth e-mail address that is confusing things. In the settings I have—
mail.att.net— as the incomeing and outgoing settings. All of my other e-mail
programs are set the same. I also think that Yahoo does ATT mail. I hope this

unfortunately Yahoo has bad authentication servers, we have tried to introduce some workarounds. For some users they work for some unfortunately not :confused:

At this moment there is nothing else we can do with this issue.
