I have recently been having an issue where I will not receive or send any emails until I unplug and re-plug the ethernet cable supplying my internet connection. Looking at the operations window, it appears that the operations stall at “synchronizing web calendar: Holidays US”
How can I remove that web calendar task?

I would go online and remove or uncheck it and then go to your eM Client calendar section and also do the same.
Then close and reopen eM Client.
