Selective Synchronization (Fetching) of Emails

How do I selectively auto-synchronize emails that I want to download into my mail client?

I just moved from Thunderbird where I had multiple accounts. I want regular synch of emails from some accounts. But on two of my accounts, I do not want to fetch emails into my program automatically. I will do it manually.

I found the general synchronization in the general settings. But, I can not find any control of synchronizing (or not synchronizing) select accounts, or controlling how often they are synch’ed. I did have that ability in TB. Does eMClient have it?

I am set up as a pop3.

Just a followup, I note that I can select “services” (either pop3 or smtp) under each individual’s account. If I don’t want the account to get emails, I guess I uncheck services for pop3. But, if later I do wan to manually get emails, I first need to temporarily uncheck. Is this a solution?

If you have V10 For a POP account, you can go to “Menu / Settings / General” and remove the option to “Download messages from POP3 accounts at startup” under Synchronization as in the example screenshot below. Then save and close Settings.

You can then manually click Refresh when you want to check that POP mail account.

Also if you want to disable the POP account, click “Menu / Accounts” and click the “General Tab”. Then at the bottom remove the option “include when sending / receiving email” under Services.

Thank you. The program doesn’t seem to allow me to show the accounts on the left, and then easily download my messages when I left click on it as Thunderbird allowed. It seems that I would have to go into the individual settings and check the pop3 section. Please correct me if I am wrong. Not a huge deal as I have a work-around. But it would be nice to have more control without entering settings.
