As the title states, when I highlight 1 email and then delete it the email directly below gets deleted as well…all this since version 10.0.3530.
This occurrence does not happen every time I delete an email…I’d say 1 in 4 times.
Upgrading to the latest eM Client shouldn’t normally cause that to happen unless something went wrong during the upgrade. You can try then uninstalling eM Client and if you have Windows “don’t delete the database” when asked on the uninstall wizard. Then reinstall from the release history page and see if that fixes it.
Apart from uninstalling and reinstalling, I’ve seen that happen before with many different mail clients when the eg: keyboard del key is going faulty or mouse button (if you delete via right mouse click) is going faulty. So if you have a spare keyboard or mouse (if it’s happening with the mouse) try that as could be a hardware related issue.
Thanks for your response cyberzork…makes sense what you say that it could be a hardware issue, I’ll more closely monitor on the occasion when it happens,
If you use the Delete key (on the keyboard) to delete an email - holding the Delete key down rather than a quick tap with cause eM Client to delete following messages. Best to use the Delete button or right-click Delete tools on the eM Client user interface.
I will give it a try and report back here if I resolve it…thanks.
I made an adjustment to the double click timing and it seems to have helped…thanks again.
No it wasn’t the double click timing…it is the actual left click relay on the mouse beginning to fail.
Thanks for the feedback.
