Select which version of a contact shows in From column

I have contacts in our work directory that I can’t modify, and there’s one address that I’d like to show in the from column with a different name. I created a local contact with the desired info, but I can find no way to say “use this contact for this address” or set a preferred contact record. Is that possible?

I’m using emClient 10.3.1524.

Something in regard to this issue seemed to changed after 10.3.15xx. After updating to 1738, the email list is now using the name from the local contact entry instead of the one from the work directory. I didn’t see anything in the changelog about this, so it seems to be an undocumented change, or emClient just arbitrarily started using a different contact entry.

It’d be really nice if someone from emClient could chime in here and explain the behavioral difference as well as expected behavior.
