For those who prefer to keep all their email in the cloud why not a basic setting to only download/sync a specific amount of email? It would be great to tell the client a week, a month, 6 months etc. Some people have years out there. Add to this the search can prompt to search the cloud if not found in the local database?
Hello, unfortunately it is not possible to limit the amount of e-mails downloaded to your client. eM Client is using the IMAP protocol to keep your items synchronised with the server. If you’re using the POP protocol to sync your items, you can setup to remove or archive messages after X days from the server, but not the client - as this feature allows you to keep an empty remote inbox on the server.
