Hey all, I am using an exchange compatible mail server (kerio) but are moving to MS Office 365 business essentials. In doing so, I was wondering, if I change my mail profile to point to the new server will all old mail (stored locally in DB) be synced up to the new server? Or do I have to create a new profile and copy everything up.
You could move all your data from the kerio server folders in eM Client to Local Folders. If Local Folders are not visible, you can enable them in Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Show Local Folders.
Once all the data is in Local Folders, you can remove the old account from eM Client and after after adding the new Office 365 account, you can then move the data from Local Folders to the server folders.
Always make a backup using Menu > File > Backup before doing anything drastic like removing an account from eM Client, or moving all your data.
