System.IO.IOException: Access to the path ‘C:\Users\Roger\AppData\Roaming\eM Client’ is denied.
This is a known issue with the Windows version. and support advised it will be fixed in a later V11 Beta. In the meantime to restore your V11 backup, first “close eM Client”.
Then “manually extract the dated backup.zip file” to a temporary folder. eg: C:\Temp
Then “rename your current hidden database folder” to eg: eM Client-Old
Then “create a new eM Client folder under Roaming” and copy and paste your extracted dated backup.zip file contents in the new Roaming\eM Client hidden database folder.
Lastly reopen eM Client and it should then be the same as the dated backup.
