I need to restore my emails after having to re-install Windows 7 Pro and eM Client. I get a message that I cant restore because eM Client is currently running. There is no option to exit, the only option that works is cancel (restore). What can I do?

eM Client is probably running in background.  Right click on the task bar at the bottom of the screen.  Click on Start Task Manager.  Click on the Processes tab.  Look for MailClient in the list of running processes.  Right-Click on it and then click on End Process.  You should then be able to complete the restoration.  Use the same procedure if you try to backup and get a message that it is still running.
