RESTORE ERROR MESSAGE -
URGENT - SEVERAL DAYS NO EMAIL - PLEASE HELP
From the error it’s saying your Access to path eM Client hidden folder .back file etc is denied.
So make sure “you are not putting your eM Client dated backup.zip files in your hidden database folder” or it won’t restore.
So suggest if you have eM Client dated backup.zip files put them in the default “Documents / eM Client” folder and then in eM Client go to “Menu / File / Restore” and see if that will then restore.
If not “close eM Client” and then “rename your hidden database folder” to eg: eM Client-Old and then reopen eM Client and “skip the initial setup” and then restore again “Menu / File / Restore”.
If you don’t have an eM Client dated backup.zip file “but you have the hidden database folder previously backed up”, then “close eM Client and delete everything in the new eM Client folder” and replace it with your backed up hidden database folder contents and then reopen eM Client.
Any new emails since the backed up database will update when eM Client recconects / syncs.
