Resolving Contacts Local and Server

I get warnings all day long that the eM has different data between local and server, and do I want to overwrite local or use local.  But this keeps happening.  All the time, every day.  Why is this happening?  I am using it with gmail.

Hello Fred, this can occur if for example a reminder was dismissed using a different client/device or if the item was edited and the contact/calendar item has went out of sync with the server, it’s important to resolve the the conflict and choose either of these options.

What version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About?
