Your are not the only one. I also agree to both features! 
The reply & forwarded can be modified in the settings, but since there is only plain text available, no modifying concerning size, bold etc. is possible, unfortunately - see e.g. this discussion.
I also would appreciate to show the timezone, e.g. a GMT reference!
