my junk mail is filled with email addresses i’ve blacklisted, so it’s a pain to permanently remove them. is there a way to have them removed automatically, without first going to junk mail?
I’m new to eM Client, but I see two options.
- Change Spam Rule so all spam will go to Trash folder instead of Junk/Spam folder.
If you don’t wall all spam to go to Trash, then,
- Create a Rule that has all the blacklisted e-mails (using wildcards if you can), so they go to Trash (or delete mail), and “stop processing other rules”. Then put it above your Spam Rule.
If there is another way to do it in eM Client, I don’t know it.
What I do if there is a specific e-mail address I don’t want to receive e-mail from, especially if it is truly a spammer and not someone you just want to avoid, is create an e-mail filter in my e-mail hosting settings, because I get e-mail to my own domain. With Gmail, you can do this through their browser webmail page, in Settings: Filters and Blocked Addresses. I’m sure that the same can be done with other e-mail providers through their browser webmail pages.
