hi, I just changed my disc with a new ssd and installed win8. everyting runs pretty nice. But how can I find my old emails. I have the old disk available. Ilooked but couldnt find the emails stored file
hello. The old database is stored in
c:\Users_username_\AppData\Roaming\emClient (Windows Vista hand newer) or
c:\Documents and Settings_username_\Application Data\eM Client\ (Win XP).
Copy all the files from the old location into the new one and it should work. It is important to copy all the files otherwise it can cause serious database errors.
I tried this solution for my problem and I get database error messages with no way to run the program.
Having the same issue after upgrading to Windows 10 and reinstalling eM Client. I can’t figure out how to get my local folders back.

Hello Bryan, what kind of database error? If the application is showing that the database is corrupt I’m afraid you won’t be able to restore your data. You can try to run this utility http://www.emclient.com/tools/dbrepairrebuildall.exe and check if the utility is able to restore your database data.
