emClient version Version 3.5.11809.0.
I normally receive files in zip format. To give an example, every day I receive a file named “Price List.zip”, but emClient shows it in the attachment field as “unnamed attachment”.
When I try to save the attachment to my hard drive, it appears in the Save As dialog box as “unnamed.bin”. As a workaround, in the Save As dialog box I am changing the name to “Price List.zip” and, after saving it, it is unzipped without problems.
Could you fix this bug (or let me know what I am doing wrong)?
we can look into the issue if you could send us one of the emails that misbehave. You can use the “Forward as attachment” option and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org and reference this post in the email. We will keep any information you send us confidential, of course.
If you are using an IMAP server to access your email it is possible that the server doesn’t send us the file name. We are relying on the information from the server and thus we may display incorrect information even if the message itself is correct.
