If you have an Outlook.com (Hotmail, Live, MSN) account set as IMAP, you probably experienced the issue with a pop-up window stating that “We’re unable to complete your request”. This was caused by a problem with Outlook.com application registration this morning and we started working on a fix right away.
As a workaround, you can set the account with Exchange protocol instead of IMAP. Delete the current account in Menu > Tools > Accounts and reconfigure it in Accounts > Add account > Mail > Exchange. The guide is on our website: https://www.emclient.com/em-with-microsoft-exchange.
Both of these options will solve the authentication issue and let you keep using your Outlook.com account.
