How can I get eM Client 7.0.26482.0 installed today to behave like other programs with regard to active window color?
Presently there is no taskbar and border color, so it does not appear to be active.
Haven’t found a checkbox for use or ignore system colors.
The system is Win8.1 Pro with Start8. Everything should appear like Win7.
(Impressed with ease of setup and use. Other than this, ready to buy a couple of Pro licenses)

I am afraid eM Client won’t change it’s design depending on your windows version.
Since it’s not a native Windows app, it won’t have the Windows border and taskbar and there is no system color setting.

Thought that perhaps the appearance theme called “System” would actually be system colors, but somehow wasn’t working. As I understand your reply, “System” is not designed to be system colors just a random name, and it is working.

System is just a name for the designed theme. We really don’t have system color option.
