I feel like I’m in the wrong movie; as a soon-to-be 80-year-old former developer, I have to wonder what kind of bad joint the person who introduced the profiles feature was smoking. If you have three profiles—one default and two others—this is what happens: When you click on an email address in the browser (mailto), the default profile is simply opened without asking. Normally, I should be able to choose; that’s what they’re there for. On top of that, I bought v9 licenses for v10 lifetime, which meant I’d get a year of support, but unfortunately not. I’ll probably have to retrain my employees on Thunderbird.
Hi @insp, I have shared your feedback on the Profile feature with our team.
While the Profile feature was a bit simpler on its first implementation, we will continue improving it ![]()
As for your support info - the license you seem to be using was purchased back in 2021, so the support account expired a year later (2022) and seems to have been used during this time.
The license contains lifetime upgrades (so it will be valid for all future versions of eM Client), but the VIP Support service is optional after the first year and can be extended for another year at any time, many users choose to extend it once they actually encounter any tech issues they need help with.
If your question is about a different license, don’t hesitate to reach out to [email protected] with more details.
