Most emails end up in the Unread folder. Once I’ve read them, they’re gone. They’re not stored in any of my four accounts either. If I search for the read email, it is displayed. Where are these emails saved? This is unforgivable.
The more features an app offers, the more prone to errors it is. eM Client clearly demonstrates this. In my opinion, it’s useless. The problems in the Unread folder make it possible to overlook important emails, such as upcoming payments. It’s already happened to me. The result was reminders. I advise against using this email client 100%. I have never experienced anything like this in the past 42 years of using a PC.

The unread folder is not mean’t to permanently keep read mail.
“After you have read the email” and it dissapears, if it’s a new email it would normally be showing in your Account Inbox or Global All Inboxes at the top left under Favourites, unless you have setup an eg: automatic rule to move specific inbox emails to other account folders when they arrive.
If you have eM Client V10 and “Categories enabled”, and don’t see the read email in your Primary Inbox tab, then “look to the right of your Primary inbox tab” as the read mail then will be in another Inbox tab such as eg: Other, Promotions, Social, Updates depending on the type of mail Account.
You can see if you have Categories enabled by going to “Menu / Settings (Preferences) / Mail / Categories”. You can customise them as well in there is you want to keep them enabled.
Lastly if your new read message “is not showing in either your Inbox, All Inboxes or any Category Inbox tabs”, then you might have a rule setup to move new mail to specific mail folders when they arrive. You can check that via going to “Menu / Rules” where you can dbl-click rules to view them.
