Problems with searching in Update 4.0.15010.0

since the last Update, 4.0.15010.0, the search in mails or contacts needs very much time

I was going to post about this also. I’ve noticed searches getting very slow in several of the recent updates, going back about a month or so. It used to be very fast and useful, but is definitely degraded recently.

Same here, since updates 2 weeks ago, search in mail/contacts became a drag.
Unuseable slow.

It’s September, 2013 (thought it might be useful, as you don’t put dates on forum posts which is a mis-feature) and my searches are way too slow, and can’t be cancelled. I have 20,000 emails. Is there anything I can do to cancel a search? Can you not pre-index my emails so that searches are as quick as they were in Windows 7 (a feature handily removed in Windows 8. Nice one, Redmond.)
