Please improve em client, because it does not import contacts from Thunderbird, and after the installation does not create a shortcut on the desktop in Windows 7 and 8.1.
Hello Lukasz, no eM Client does not automatically add a shortcut on your desktop, you have to do this manually in case you want to have a launcher of the application on your desktop.
eM Client does support import of contacts from Thunderbird. If you’re having issues with this, please navigate to Tools > Settings > Advanced and enable Import logging in eM Client. Retry and perform Thunderbird import and select your folders for import (select your contacts folder) and proceed.
If the issue persists, please submit the logging data to my email, email@example.com with a reference link to this forum topic. You can submit the data in Tools > Settings > Advanced > Send logs.
Please also include more information about the application’s behaviour, are you seeing any errors after import? What version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About? What calendar service are you using with eM Client?
