Problem with Incoming mail

Yesterday email client ceased to show the content of incoming emails.

The email are listed but when opened there is no content except an error message, ‘your email was not downloaded, it will be when you next go online’ But it doesn’t! I now have to go to my Hotmail (Outlook) account to read emails. Any ideas why this suddenly happened?  Chris

It may be that the message cache is corrupted. You can right-click on the folder and choose Properties > Repair. That should resync the messages with the server. Also, you can set eM Client to download the complete message when it arrives, rather than just the default option with downloads just the header. Go to Menu > Tools > Accounts, and click on the IMAP tab for your Hotmail account. Scroll down to Offline, and select the offline options.
