Problem with acceptung appointments from inbox

Testing Appointments i have a Problem.
Sender Configuration: Notes/Domino 9.0.1
My Configuration:
IMAP Mail Account, Caldav Account (SoGO)
When  i accept an Appointment with the accept Button in the inbox, there is no mail sent.
If i open the Appointment in the Calender, i can accept the Appointment and the Mail is send.
When i decline an Appointment from the inbox the Mail is sent.

Is there any Configuration to check?

Hi Ulf, I’m sorry to see this, but I’m unfortunately not completely sure what you’re referring to, can you please specify the issue and check the exact version number of eM Client that you’re currently using on your computer in Help > About?

What do you mean by accepting the appointment while having it open, if you receive an invitation to an existing appointment, you should be able to accept the event and by accepting the event the calendar item should appear in your calendar…

Can you please make a screenshot of the received invitation?

Are you able to replicate this issue with all incoming invitations to your account?

If i acccept the Appointment in the mail, no email will be send.
If i choose tentative, no mail will be send.
if i choose decline an email will be send.
It appears in the Calender.

if i change it in this calenar view to tentative an e-mail is send.
If i change it again to accept, an email is send.

This happens only to appointments send from Domino 9 Mail system.
Appointments from two other systems work as expected.

Hi again Ulf, do you have multiple calendar accounts setup in eM Client? If so, is it possible one of the calendars is the host of the event you’re being invited to?

Can you please make a a screenshot of your calendar account settings in Tools > Accounts > Your Domino 9 account > Calendar, is this a Mail/Calendar account? Or do you have a separate mail account from your calendar account?

i have multiple calendar accounts, but there is nothing in from domino.
The Appointment is sent with a notes client 9.0.1FP3 and the account is on a domino server.
In the emClient there is no account on this domino server.

Hi again Ulf, are you having this issue while using the calendar account? How did you setup these account did you use the automatic setup? Can you also please make sure you have one of the calendar folders setup as the default calendar folder on your email account settings in general?

It is a manual setup for mail and calendar. (IMAP Mail Account, Caldav Account (SoGO))
i have only Problems with appointments from Domino/Notes Systems.
I tested Appointments from SoGO Server, all is as expected (status reply is send). Tested with icloud Calendar from iphone, all as expected (status reply is send). From gmx-Mail all as expected (status reply is send).

The Problem is only with appointments which are send from IBM notes/domino.
I tested it with one other account in a second em Client installation, same issue. All is fine exept Invitations from IBM Notes/Domino.

In all cases by accepting the event the calendar item appears in the expected calendar.
But if the Invitation ist send from IBM Notes/Domino no status reply is send if i choose accept or tentative.
If i choose decline a status reply is send.

Hi again Ulf, can you please navigate to Tools > Settings > Advanced and enable IMAP and CalDAV logging for the problematic account?

  1. Save the settings
  2. Restart the application
  3. Replicate the issue
    Once the issue reoccurs, please go back to the advanced settings window and submit the logs to my email, [email protected] with a reference link to this forum topic.

Also please if possible submit a meeting invite from Domino notes to my email as well, so we can try to replicate the issue.
